The North Queensland tenement suite consists of five tenements located WNW of Townsville. The permits are hosted by Early Carboniferous Granites of the Kennedy Igneous Province which in turn host many known porphyry Molybdenum and Gold deposits in the region.

New Moon East

The Macauley Creek – Coane Range area contains narrow vein type tin (Sn) mineralisation hosted by Early Carboniferous Spinifex Granite.

Preliminary sampling has implied the possible existence of porphyry copper style of mineralisation. Field mapping in conjunction with the results of the stream sediment sampling program will elucidate the possibility of this type of deposit and identify drill targets for the commencement of the planned drilling program scheduled for 2011. In addition, the molybdenum prospect known locally as Wilson’s Hill will be assessed as a potential drill target following on from geological mapping based on the soil sample results.
