Dr Zhihong has over 25 years experience in geological exploration and has directed a number of award-winning national projects in China. For much of the past twenty years he worked in the Tianjin Center of Geological Survey, culminating in his role as Research Fellow. During this time he conducted extensive geological surveys and mineral exploration of precious metals, particularly gold and silver, throughout China. As project manager he supervised teams of geologists on significant programs, leading to the discovery and development of a number of mineral resources.
Dr Zhihong has a doctorate degree in Structural Geology (2004) from the China Academy of Geological Sciences in Beijing and a Professional Masters Degree in Geological Resource Management and Environmental Geology from the International Institute for Geo-information Science and Earth Observation in the Netherlands. He has published 44 dissertations on mineral deposits and geology as well as 10 scientific research reports.
